libtre-dev software package provides development package for the libtre5 regexp matching library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libtre-dev
libtre-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libtre-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libtre-dev *
You will get with libtre-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
